A few square meters in one of the most visited markets in Madrid. A heritage environment in which it is frankly difficult to be seen.

The extreme influx of visitors throughout the day together with a very restrictive style manual, due to the protection of the building and its spaces, makes it necessary to design strategically.

In keeping with the brand identity, MADRÍ speaks of icons and customs, of the typical and the cliché. The project is committed to being traditional in the material, artisan in the process and contemporary in the proposal. Once again, a single material is chosen to provide a strong proposal.

The proposal we presented to the client was to generate a large mural, occupying the entire surface of the stand, including the ceiling. The tiles of the taverns of Madrid as a starting point.

We involved David Cardenas in the process, a visual artist who gave us his know-how from start to finish. Wonderful initial sketches, graphic description of the Madrid of 2023 and finally screen-printed and numbered tiles to be placed one by one on site following the design of the mural.
